Paint & glue for LGB "plastic"

I'm new to G scale. Inherited two LGB Stainz locos from my grandsons. One loco is new the other is a great running 1979 model that has lost a number of parts; thus is ‘bash-able’. The red, black and green plastic still looks new – there lies a problem. I like weathered looking working models.
What glue works on this LGB plastic!
What’s the best (airbrush) paint that will stay on this plastic?
This plastic seems to be a mix of nylon, Teflon and silicone!
Thanks in advance,
BobM

CA like ZapGap is what I use, mostly styrene or wood to the LGB plastic. I often will have to clamp the peices together but once it dries, its pretty permanent.
Have fun with your trains

Although I haven't actually tried it, there's a product called CoolChem Cyanopoxy. I found it through a link I got from a friends site. Do a Google for Mike Rose Hobbies. The reviews that are posted praise the stuff to the heavens. One guy glued a broken Delrin handrail (HO) end to end and said the joint was as strong as the plastic itself! I'll try it if I ever need to glue Delrin or Celcon. It's a little pricey , though.
