Where do I get matchbox size people from?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 5:33 AM
I'm looking for places where I can get different types of people to place around the garden and on the platforms etc. They have to be matchbox size (2"or 50mm) to keep them to scale. Any Ideas?

Hi soulsa
Try your local friendly War games supplier thats the closest I can think of they should have 54mm figures and not just military types.
Also try and find a suplier of Britains (brand name) figures they did all sorts
farm inxluding the animals, zoo, military, cowboys and indians including
vehicals horse and wagons, guns and gun teams ect ect.
ambulances with stretcher teams
Be warned good quality 54mm figures regardles of where manufactured are not cheap they were manufactured in the US UK & Germany that I know about
so you should be able to find a manufacturer that suits your needs.
Avoid like the plague the cheap and nasty ones often found in toy stores.
They are the devils own job to repose or modify.
regards John
IMPORTANT note Wargames and military figures are measured from the sole of thier boots to eye level and come in natural and exagerated types so make sure your looking at the right ones.
