i might decide too go with radio control due to the large amount of track needed .........

ok...... or wanted

this would make up the price of radio control and less problems ide think????

Thanks Super Chicken

Although I'm East Coast, I am in salt water envrionment (every once in a while the electric Co has to get fire co to wash down transformers, etc. from wind driven salt spray!). Here in So. DE we get some snow, but it usually melts away in 3 days. Temps here can get down into single digits (F) in winter, and we'll usually get 2 or 3 days in summer that top 100 (F)

I am totally sold on Stainless track. Don't let anybody kid you, if you do track power you do have to clean it once in a while, but much less than brass. It has notably less expansion and contraction due to temperature changes than brass; but does cost about 20% more! (I think it's well worth the premium price.) It's also a harder metal, thus stands up to things falling or stepping on it much better!

If you're going to go with battery power and radio control, then go with whatever is the cheapest you can get cause it dosen't make any difference, you just want track to run on.

If you're planning track power, don't know how you're going to do it, or want to keep all options open; then I'd go Stainless!
