Here's my questions ...
1. Will the TE work with the Bridgewerks power supply. I understand it goes between the power supply and the track.
Yes it will work with the TE
2. If the Bridgewerks power supply is set at less than max. IE: throttle set lower to keep amps down, will the TE work with it ok ???
You do not keep amps down by having a lowered throttle you keep the voltage down (All G scale trains are voltage driven. The train draws the current (amps) power it needs at that voltage. You can contact Bridgewerks as they can answer how to adjust to work with TE.
3. Or, should I consider the Bridgewerks Mag 10RS, 10 amp, to keep the TE system safe, and rely on that to provide enough power ???
The 15SR and 10SR operate the same way, only real difference is that the 15SR can supply up to 15 amps of power at 24 volts where the 10SR can supply up to 10 amps of power at 24 volts. (By the way, there is a larger number of amps available at lower voltage - the formula Volts X Amps (VA) tells how much poer is available for instance the 10SR is 240VA so at 10 volts there is 24 ampds of power, etc.) Mkae sure you know the VA rating of any power supply you purchase to know it's total available power.
Another thing with the Bridgewerks power supply is that it is highly filtered which will help your TE and trains run better longer.
Hope these answers help.

I picked up the Aristo 2006 price list at the BIG E show last week and this info was in it.
55465 Elite 3 voltage power supply
55468 Elite 15 amp 24 volt.
55404 controller 15 amps
Interesting enough the 55490 on board is still in the price list.

The Aristo catalog now lists a 15 amp 24 volt power pack and a 15 amp controller. I do not know if these have shipped yet.
The present Elite is 13 amp at 22.5 volts and can be switched to 20 amps at 14 volts.

I'm using the Bridgewerks 15 amp 24 volt transformer and their remote control unit . I have been very happy with it so far . Its been in service2 years and has been trouble free.Seems to have good range and it is generally powering multi-unit consists for me . I'd recomend it . What I like about it too is the little key chain remote cuz of its real small size and ease of use. Fits in your pocket and you don't even know it .

It will work fine that way. 10 amps is LOTS of current. Shoot even 6 1/2 amps was enough for me to set a loco on fire. Oops[:-,] The Aristo Elite is a less expensive. I think Bridgewerks has a remote deal.

Bridgewerk and TE ?

I want to get a power supply that will give me the power to run the newer big engines with sound and some track lighted passenger cars. I know the following system I'm considering is more than I need now, but trying to be prepared for the future too.
I have been reading, and looking at the Bridgewerks. I'm considering the Mag 15SR, 15 amp, 24 volt, 1 track controller. Reasoning that it should supply all the power I'll need, now and in the future.
I also like the Aristocraft, TE transmit/receiver remote system. But, it states that it is only rated 10 amps.
Here's my questions ...
1. Will the TE work with the Bridgewerks power supply. I understand it goes between the power supply and the track.
2. If the Bridgewerks power supply is set at less than max. IE: throttle set lower to keep amps down, will the TE work with it ok ???
3. Or, should I consider the Bridgewerks Mag 10RS, 10 amp, to keep the TE system safe, and rely on that to provide enough power ???
I know their are other options for power supplies, etc. but, from all I've read, these items seem to be what I'd like to have.
Thanks in advance for any ideas....
OkieRRr
