Hello , yes they do work together . However I have found that I have to close the USA and Aristo couplers and then drop the USA one into the Aristo . I have used the mixed brands in 20 to 30 car trains with no problem of them seperating . What I have been doing lately however is changing all my USA cars to Aristocraft couplers with the exception of the newer modern tank cars and the centerflow hopper cars that they offer now . Those couplers are real nice and in my opinion better than the Aristo design . You can also change everything over to the Kadee couplers and body mount those .

USA couplers compatable with Aristo?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 10:04 PM
I hooked up a 1:29 USA car with an Aristo car on a short piece of track and they seemed to couple OK with the knuckle couplers. Will they actually work OK when pulled by rest of the cars in operation? If they aren't truly compatable, can a USA coupler be fitted to a 1:29 Aristo car? Thanks much!
