keeping the tip from being clogged is good. I have a bucket of warm water I dunk the airbrush in to blow it out.

Have a look inTamiya Model Magazine International as well, might be worth buying sometimes. It's Tanks, planes, cars etc but the modelling, painting and weathering techniques are very good. I get mine from WHSmiths.

It's one that I visit often. Three really basic airbrushing tips that I can impart to you would be :
1. Always clean your airbru***horoughly after use
2. Always thin down your paint
enamels-at least 50/50 with the appropriate thinner
acrylics- about 2/3 paint 1/3 alcohol with a drop of dishwashing detergent
3. wa***he parts to be painted first. This removes mold oil. If the parts are already painted wipe them off with alcohol.

Evening all,

I have a basic Badger single-action airbrush (the one with the glass jar underneath), and I'm looking to make more use of it with weathering some of my wagons - the cheaper ones!

Can anyone point me at any useful websites they know of, or can offer any advice here?
