For some 1:1 activity, give San Diego Railroad Museum a try. Nice half day trip/half day in the yard. Tracks run along the boarder with Mexico, makes for some good desert scenery.

I gave the web sites so you could get directions, times, cost, etc.

I am traveling to San Diego next month and was wondering if anybody will be having a layout open house? Also if there are any public displays in the San Diego area. Thank you for your time and time.
