I think your best bet might be Amazon.co.uk - UK arm of the Amazon site. There's a few works out there, some covering later models like the Hornby Dublo system too. I have a copy of "Hornby - The Official Illustrated History" by Ian Harrison which is pretty good but covers everything from the early O tinplate to the current range, so it may not go into enough detail for your needs. Hope this is of help!

I spoke with Marc Horovitz and he said there are several books available. A couple that come immediately to mind are "Clockwork Steam and Electric" by Gustav Reder, "A Century of Model Trains" by Allen Levy and "Model Railway Engines" by Minnz. He also said that Cristie's Auction House came out with one around 1990, but he can't remember the title.

As for locating them, you can try Ebay, Amazon, Addall.com, or bibliofind.com
