New Year's resolutions

I do believe I've already shared my GRR resolutions with everybody. The Wife handed me a printed copy of my resolutions about six weeks ago.

1. Construct the yard for Rosebud Falls.
2. Run the "main line" out and back to Green Apple Orchard. (roughly a simple "out and back" loop nearly 175 ft.) (It is her desire to be able to send a train out and not have it come back for a while.)
3. Begin construction of the "elevated" trolley line to the top of the falls. (Still pondering on just how I want to do it. 3 ft rise over a 30 ft run, just a little steep for most prime movers. Still considering a "cog" system. ) Got to be able to take all the tourists up to the top of the mountain.
4. Freelance build a reasonable facsimile of the freight station in Chama New Mexico.
5. Freelance build a reasonable facsimile a grain elevator as found in western Kansas.
6. Get some ground cover in place.

Nope, what's the point? One day pretty much blurs into the next. I just get the one day out of the way, then worry about the next one when it gets here. No point in making a useless promise to myself when I already know what needs to be done.

So I just want to run my just new built live steamer and to built some boxcars out of wood. That´s enough for the first thoughts.

More Free time! Less work![:p][:D]
I figured out over my recent 3 day weekend I worked the equivilent of two and a quarter years within one years time. This is if you base a year on 40 hrs a week 52 weeks a year being 1480 hours a year. Other than the occasional three day weekend I haven't taken a week off/vacation in 3 and half years which is why it takes 2 years to do a Annie/mogul bash[:0][:(!][xx(][V].

Hey there,
My New Years resolution is not to make any resolutions! That way I won't dissappoint myself when I don't do it. Usually I get some crazy idea, run off to the lumber yard and go at it. Then by the time Naomi gets home I'm half done or something and have to leave it. Eventually it gets done...sometimes. Sound like your house guys??? In the end it's all good. Do have plans for this year...so we'll see. Later eh...Brian.

I have resolved to complete all the construction-type work on my line this year:

1. A curved trestle bridge - Possibly a Brunel design
2. A trestle incline about 15ft long rising about 12 inches along its length
3. A small bridge over a gulley, about 15 inches long but again slightly curved.

Should keep me out of trouble for 12 months...

Yeap,

Using track pulled up from the indoor line...

1. Add a dogleg extension to the outdoor line (already cleared the area before it started pouring rain!)

2. Add a second spur to the Fubar siding on the outdoor line

3. Wire sidings and blocks to allow for multiple train use on outdoor line.

Pull up and box remaining track and structures from indoor line till we get the remodel done.

I don't know yet. I want to finish my town area and a spur track. In the summer, I hope to do another expansion with an even bigger loop.
