Sorry to here that Ben, I had the impellers on mine replaced this past summer because the high Iron content destroyed them but the pump itself was fine.

Sorry to hear about the pump. Mine has been down there since 1973 and I'm holding my breath because it's probably on it's last leg by now.

Good luck to the both of you -Its raining and about 34 degrees right now here in IA I have to wait to spring to start building mine or anything else outside :)

I know the feeling! I've got a major house project nearing completion, my truck blew an engine, I've got 4 girls and work has been pretty time consuming due to a force structure change. I guess I'll get to the trains sooner or later, but my priorities are to anything but a hobby.

No time to run trains between CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR . My well pump
went out, the well is 400ft. deep and the pump is down 365ft.it 's a muddy mess in my yard, no water for 2 days, it's fixed again , i hope things get back to normal this coming week. the old pump has been in since 1989. BEN
