Micro engineering Flex track
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 5:11 AM
I have had a small garden railway that I am in the process of moving. it was down for about 8 -9 years. I used Micro engineering 332 Flex track. It worked well for me but the ties are are needing to be replaced. Its about $40 for 24 foot. Has anyone tried the Aristo-craft Flex track ties on the Micro engineering Flex track? It would cost about $1.00 a foot ??? The rails apper to be the same size...

Thanks Ty

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Even if there's a slight discrepency between the thickness of the base of the rail, the Aristo tie strips are loose enough to accomodate the difference. If I recall, though, the ME rail is identical to the LGB rail in terms of profile, so it should be no different.
