P.H hobbies digital steam sound system.
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 5:58 PM
I just acquired a LGB train car that has a P.H hobbies digital steam sound system (DT-s2-A/CBIO) installed; however the wiring is a disaster, their is a yellow and green wire disconnected that is coming off the board and several others that are just twisted together. I am looking for someone that may have a wiring schematic or some knowledge of how these are wired up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can be emailed at,
Michael.stewart@latimes.com

Thank you.

I may have an old diagram somewhere.
Does it have a battery?
PH is long out of biz, and I'm afraid that even when you get it functioning, you may not like what you hear.
Then again, maybe you have one that actually works!
I'll see what I have.
Later.

It does not have a battery but that is not to say it doesn’t need one, this may be where the 2 wires go not really sure.

On Paul Lousey sound generally yellow and black for battery, but not always.
