Freezing temps, 30 - 45MPH winds, & grandkids complaining about how cold it is to put cars on track? Weren't no running here!

A few days ago I had enough track laid and connected to hook up power to the track and gave the locomotive a run around. It did fairly well, except my side rod replacement is too thick so the locomotive clicked and stalled. I'm also ONE screw short in having my track all screwed together. I've got it, but it's on the carpet somewhere...and not likely to be stepped on.

Hope you all got some railroading in over Thanksgiving some how.
