Marty , we have visitors to our backyard a couple times a year and we love it . The fun is having people come over and see it . It's still fun to me to go out and play with it alone , but having company over is better .

If I remember right Marty may have a couple in UP. His shop is well stocked for the long haul. Marty's house may be well out of the way but definately worth seeing! Later eh...Brian.

Eric, my closest GRR buds are 45 mins away and more, the IA club is 3 hrs one way same with the KC club.
Be greatful for your friends.
The last 3 years I've been adding and building the RR for others to run on and enjoy.

Being that my rr isnt that big, it has never been featured in a magazine, and that it is in no way, shape, or form visable from the road, it doesn't get very many visitors. Well other than my pals. Course I'm half way convinced that the only reason that they come is they don't have a permanent railroad. LOL!

That's really cool, Marty! I'll be sure to look you up if I'm over your way. Looks cold, it was 72 here today!

It's always a good time to meet people from other states and New Jersey. Seeing them face to face really goes a long way.

Good job!

Our UPS driver brought his grandkids over to visit.

They loved the trains and they honked the Horn on the shop. ( Don kids just love it)
Plus Grampa keeps the kids well supplied with Thomas wood trains and tracks

Plus Gene Lillo dropped of #9591 U.P. so she's back home.

plus Ward Hutton (smokey the bear "center") with his friend Tim on the left came from N.J.
And Richard Kahl from Iowa brought an engine to be worked on but I could not fix it.

It was really great meeting other modelers and running trains. The wind finally died down.
THANK YOU all for coming and visiting.
