Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............. you guys!

No wonder some manufacturers have funny habits for stating curves. Curves are usually stated as the distance from the center point to the center of the track (theoretical line), commonly referred to as a radius.

8 ft. minium diameter is required for that loco. Now Aristo Craft's model will inch around 5ft. diameter curves, but there aren't any that are in production today that can take 4ft without derailing.

OK everyone lets look at these two statements. A 4 foot Radius is the exact same corner as an 8 foot Diameter So that would make both people correct. the only problem there could be here is if the person that's wanting to know the answer to the question is as confused about Radius vs. Diameter as everyone else is seeming to be.

Needs the 4 foot radius minimum but looks great and pulls well. I found the front plow a bit low and it hits the track unless it is dead flat, moved mine up a couple of millimetres and solved the problem. Would buy as many as Santa Fe if I could afford them
