Do you have another layout besides your garden railroad?

Well this is a tough one to answer...

I have the indoor Borracho Springs RR in 1/20.3~22.5 something or other scale...[8)]

The outdoor Fubar & Snafu branch line in 1/20.3~22.5 something or other scale...[8)]

I have a 36 diameter circle of large scale track for a portable Xmass tree layout that is the basis for the Xmas train and next year meybe the Halloween train...[8)]

I have enough large scale track left over for a small portable Inglenook switching puzzle layout...[:p]

and...

My HOn30 micro-layout in 9" x 10" (yes, inches)...the remanants of the original Furnace Creek, Ketchum and Union Pacific (put those initials together for a surprise)[:0]

And if I get really bored this winter I might try another HOn30 micro in a small suitcase I have...[:D]

So I guess the answer is Yes! I do other layouts besides to outie layout.[^]

I have an 'N' scale layout based on Cactus Creek Central plans published in Model railroader in 1999. Since getting in to 1:20:3 this year , its been sadly neglected. I've got several locos ready to fit DCC decoders but I'd rather tinker with building a flat car from wood. Is this progress or regression?[|)]

I run G outside during the warm months and O in the basement during the cold months.

Couldn't respond to the poll because it wouldn't allow multiple responses. I currently have other layouts in Z and O gauge, and, once I move again, plan to add Standard Gauge and On30 to the list.

Hi All
OK who forgot to OO scale on the list.
I have a 6 X 4 But it's got about a ton and a half of dust on it now.
It hasnt been touched since I started in the garden can't see the dead horse bones and nasty terrible beasty that lives in the ruined tower.
The beasty is on the layout the tower is in the computor room.

Strange... My small scale friends complain that HO locos cost the same as my "highly detailed" G gauge locos.

Due to a lack of space, I don't have a layout at home for my o-guage equipment, so I joined a club and have 24/7 access to it's 2000 square foot hi-rail layout.

I've got HO and N, and a single piece of G gauge track. Besides scale, N and HO are about as simalar as you can get, but G blows everything out of the water. G takes much more rugged track and much more room to run. Compared to HO and N, G costs about twice per component for the same quality stuff. In some cases, it's 4 times that of the smaller scales. (But no one wants to do HO in the garden, do they?)

I do intend to get more track sometime in the next few weeks, a full circle of 6' diameter Aristocraft curves and 4 3' straights.

I've got an "ever shrinking" HO indoor layout, it's now just a 2X4 module of a theme park with two mainling tracks and a crossover. It's good for the nasty weather days, but I've so many G projects on the docket I may not get to the module any time soon.

Growing up, I did HO in the basement as well as G scale outdoors. When I left for college, I concentrated on large scale, and discovered I didn't miss the HO world. I've been clean and sober ever since. [;)]

I occasionally think about getting into On30, and Bachmann's impending forney will be very tempting, but I've got enough other things going on that will keep me focused, if not limit my work in large scale.
