Speeking of WW2 offshoots... I had a Suzuki Samurai for 10 years (believe it or not, the most trouble free car I've ever had, 140K) I was looking at a shop manual of the underside when later I happened to look at an underside pic of a '44 Willy's Jeep and Son of a Gun, they were identical! Seems my Suki was just a Willy's with a tad nicer interior [:0][:p][:D]

My 20 year old daughter is driving a stick shift with clutch, a 2005 Scion and SHE chose that type of transmission. She and her 22 old sister both learned on a clutched Honda that belonged to my wife.

When he got a 55 Buick the HJ was sold to an aunt who lived on a farm, and all the kids in the extended family that were younger than me learned to drive in it out there in the fields. Wow...all this from a bumper sticker. TJ...440, 727..360,727...awaiting new assignments. 81' Dodge Ram extended cab short box. Currently hunting for a 64' Dodge 2 door sedan project car. Parents had one when I was a kid. Also in the process of tracking my late cousin's Super Bee. It's either a 69' or a 70'. The original selling dealer is digging. If by some miracle it is still alive I wi***o do a resto as a tribute to my cousin. Lotsa' "ifs" in this deal but I am trying. On the train side of things the railway garden has been extended and will see a second loop come spring. That is all for now! Later eh...Brian.

You betcha, Troy, I had a small bit of corrosion on a connector the other day and the [censored] thing cut off on me in traffic. Not so good to be pushing a really cool bike. Got it fixed in a hurry, but my pride was hurt. I guess the ol' Triumph was just showing it's British roots .

Oooh, that hurts, TOC. I live 4 miles from Chrysler Hall and the Chrysler fine art Museum, evidently Walter was more of a cultural icon than most people know or give him credit for. I also live 2.2 miles from the Norfolk Ford F150 assembly plant, which, ironicaly, is exactly across the street from the junkyard that is overflowing with Ford products. I'm not saying anything, just pointing out a fact, if you want I can post a photo.

As for your question, which one? My 400hp Moustwang eating '71 Plymouth Valiant hot rod has only 400 miles on it, since I just built it recently, my '50 Plymouth P-20 has 75k on the clock, and my van has 131,000 as it is only 5 years old.

Lets recap- torsion rod suspension- Chrysler, hemi heads- Chrysler, mini-van- Chrysler, General Lee- Chrysler, Gen MacArthur's car- Chrysler, unibody- Chrysler, shall I go on? Ok, Pinto, Ford, oops, sorry that was a low blow. 'Cuda, Roadrunner, Charger, Super Bee, Super Bird, GTX, cars you don't mess with at a stop light. Mustang? After considerable $$$ you can get it to run OK but it will be forever chasing a Chrysler. Just my [2c]

One of the few mistakes old Henry made was that when he fire the Dodge Brothers he didn't shoot them.
Same with Walter P. Chrysler.

Howdy ya'll,

Wow, not used to seeing green...

I'm usually over in the railroading forum, but now I'm doing a sitewide search. For those who don't know me, I attend Widener University outside of Philly PA. I have noticed a car near where I park my truck in the ACN lot with a trains.com bumper sticker(where can I get one of those by the way) and some model railroad club stickers as well. It's on a silver volvo and I'm just wonderin who it is.
