Marty, very nice car. The weathering detail is A+. It truly is hard to tell that it is a model.

Thanks HJ,

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Marty et al,

To get closer to proto switching the trucks would help, too. The car looks much better with all the weathering!!!!! [:D][:D][;)][:D][8D][8D]

For those interested how the LGB RailBox compares to similar 50ft Box cars from their competitors (all of them "Made in China") you can download the translation of a German review from http://www.easternmountainmodels.com/pdf/3_05Pre.pdf

Well new to me.[;)]
I am very happy with this car after installing steel wheels and Kadees.
The doors are even big enough to slid a battery and RC unit into it.
I found it out sitting on a siding just north of Minersville.

I just wi***heir screw holes was not showing[:(]
This is a simple rattle can weathering job, note how well the details in the trucks show up.[^]
Its always funner to take the time to take the photo on the track instead of the kitchen table.[;)]
