Latest Porter Bash
Posted by toenailridgesl on Monday, October 3, 2005 6:32 PM
Gents & Gentesses,
herewith I present the latest piece of motive power to roll out of the Toenail Ridge shops.

It started life as an early model Bachmann side-tank Porter. The new boiler is PVC, domes, stack, smokebox front, pilot, cab are BigHauler 10-wheeler,

tender is from an old AMT General kit.

I'm in the process of adding ALL correct piping & valves to the boiler & backhead.

Stay tuned for more progress on the super-detailing

Looks very good. I like the looks of the seat and the tender is the type a person does not see much of any more.

I wish I had the skills to do something as awesome as that, Phil.

About the only "freelance skills" I posses are as a fictional reporter for the Rosebud Falls Gazette!
