Indoor Railroad Tour
Posted by Tom The Brat on Friday, August 19, 2005 10:38 AM
A freight pauses at the water tank on the Pennsylvania line.

While one of the locals scurries to escape attention[:I]

A signal bridge at Malfunction Junction protects the junction of the Asylum Valley N&D with the Pennsylvania.

The N&D shortline uses and old Pennsey shifter in the yard.

Now what is that newfangled thing it's shifting?

A freight pulls past Coleus Hill.

The Express crosses Coleus Creek.

The army has to wait for the express to pass.

Billy enjoys a cool breeze up on the coaling tower while watching for trains.

An N&D Local crosses the bridge over the Asylum River.

And past an old cairn.

Torby,
I've followed the progress of your railway on the other site. It' s looking very good and I love the tongue in cheek way that you describe things.
Now that you have all of your dirt in place, what are you going to do.Are you going to get some ground cover plants?
You could grass over the whole area and develop a grass cutting/harvester type attachment to stick on the front of a loco.Beats a snowplough!
Regards,Troy

I'm trying not to mow it[xx(] I have some foliage type seeds planted here and there and some flowers up near the water tank. If I can get on top of the finances for a minute, I'll put some little ground cover type plants along the lines of the "stepables."

Might need that raid before long. Something is growing. I wonder if it's what I planted.

Hmm, I didn't plant these.[:I]
