Repainting Bachmann passenger cars

I posted a question back in July concerning the repainting of Bachmann passenger cars. I am happy to say I have had success, with 2 of the 6 cars now repainted.
One thing I learned is after you have cleaned, sanded or what ever your going to do to prepare the car for paint, spray it first with
Krylon Fusion
paint as a base coat. I then used Rustoleum for plastic paint for the finish coat and I am very pleased with the result.
Prior to using the "fusion" paint, I had painted the first car with about 8 coats of paint, and still could not get a nice finish. Using the Fusion paint, then the finish paint and it was done.
