We all go through the same thing. I find myself thinking about how I would do it again next time before I've even finished what I'm doing now. I think that's called "growth".

Good luck and happy building. Looks like you've got a well thought out plan.

My first garden rr was built in hast and was a pretty sloppy job. My wife wanted to show off her garden, so we got something together for the show. The last four years, I have had several surgeries and worked full-time, so the rr went to seed. This year I am spending each day doing a little bit and improving on the performance and looks. My plan is to have little diorama scenes throughout the layout to create interest. I am now to the point that all my trains are running and am now ready to put in houses, barns, fences, etc. This time it's going to work.
