I don't have a garden, or even a regular yard. Just a patch of grass available. If you have any space at all, you can have a railroad.
I have to take it up every month when I go to sea. So, every other month I have a different layout.

Naw, you don't need a garden...I have one for purposes not train related (fre***omatoes, green beens, squash). I like to think of the garden as agriculture.

In the UK there's a big idea that the garden is another room to your house, bollocks, it's where my train goes and anything else just happens. Capt Turk, can't you have a RR on the boat? That would be different!!
Cheers,
Kim

Capt
A man has to do what a Man has to do. Most call it a GRR simply because its outdoors.
You can have LS indoors but its not a "GRR" per say.
You have a nice RR. keep going.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.

I dont have a "garden RR" , I have an indoor layout, I dont consider myself a "garden RRer" I consider myself a "large scale model RRer" But almost everything else is the same as others in the scale, just minus the plants.[;)]

Truth is that whatever floats yer boat, then keep doing it.

   Have fun with your trains
