I saw your postings about the Baldwin Westinghouse electric motors on another forum but I have to use this forum to reply to you. I built a BW motor in 1/29 scale. There a couple of web sites which are quite helpful.They show the various models of the locomotives and modifications made to them by the different traction companies. One is Dave's Electric Railroads and the other is the Don Ross site. Plans are harder to find. The Carstens Traction Planbook has a sketchy plan for a BW 50 tonner. I bought my copy in my local used book store but Carstens may still sell the book new.
I had visions of turning the Van Buren Short Line into the Van Buren Short Line and Traction Company but my Spring clean-up demonstrated to me that maintaining a wire under a red oak, a black gum and a red bud tree would be nearly impossible. Meanwhile my BW runs around my lay out with the trolley pole up but no wire. I have a digital camera and I will try to post some photos later in the week if I can figure out how to do it.
