GarGraves Track
Posted by underworld on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 12:09 PM
Does anyone use or have experience with GarGraves track? I've found that they are producing gauge 1 3-rail.....just what I am looking for. I am wondering about the quality and durability.

Thanks, I just got to see a sample that my hobby store ordered. You are very right about the price....$5.00 per 37 inch section for the tinplate.

I'll find out Monday when I can get to the train store. They called today to say that the 10 sections that I ordered are in. List price for the gauge1 3-rail tinplate is $5.50 but I got them for $5.00.

Actually when I was in search of the gauge1 3-rail track I found the GarGraves website but they didn't list it. My LHS found out that they made it. I was curious to see what it looked like so I went to the website.....then I realized that I had seen the site before.....but still no gauge1 3-rail. I called them and that's when they found out it wasn't listed. He said he was going to have to talk to his computet tech guy. The 10 sections that I ordered are in and I'll be picking them up on Monday. I figured 10 would be a decent start. At least it's more than I have now! [:D]

Underworld:

I've heard of gauge 1 in two rail, but never gauge 1 in three rail. Most three rail is considered to be O gauge. Just wondering what you meant in your post.
