rainy day pics

Ok, it does rain in the UK, not all of the time but a good bit of it. Went into town this morning and bought myself 4 Bachmann cars, 2 stock, 1 gon and a tank. The shop had just received 2 pallet loads of Bachmann stuff a few days ago so they're awash with the stuff and it's all fresh from China. Got it home and had a nice surprise, all of the cars had excellent finish, better than I expect from Bachmann, with great lettering, doors that slide easily, metal hand rails on the tank, no hook and loops though, just knuckles fitted as standard. Has anyone else noticed a slightly better finish from Bachmann? Had to ru***hese pics, I have redone all of my track joints that where opened to allow track relocation and, wouldn't you know it, as soon as I put these on the track the heavens opened. The step to the decking was built yesterday so that area is now decking canyon. Notice the roof mounted tool box on the C16.

Sorry about the light -

Yes, I've noticed an improvement in Bachman quality. Maybe we can hope this is a trend............

I've noticed that whenever I get a new toy (train, car, motorcycle or whatever) it seems to rain. Not just any rain, gully-washing, epic Biblical proportion rain. I think it is an unwritten law of the universe, like gravity only more annoying.

Great job, Kim, when can I come over and help you play with, er ,um, I mean help you operate your trains in an adult and mature manner?[swg]

T-Jack, anytime you're over here mate. Long standing open invite to garden RR'ers, if yer in the area and we are around, we've a spare room. A few rules, must like beer/wine/bacardi etc, be prepared to watch proper football - if it's the season, cricket if it aint and run trains. Oh, and enjoy good food and be prepared to watch a few trams!
Cheers,
Kim
