Cheers guys,
Thanks for all the compliments, TJ you're right on with the relaxing garden bit, my garden borders 5 neighbours and they are all nice quiet people, hope they never move. Walt, I have some LED's set into the decking that has appeared since the photo but these are 12v dc, I will have to explore your idea.

That is way cool, Kim! Good job! It looks like a very peaceful and relaxing garden. [sigh]I'm envious now..................

I lived in Britain for several years and I think I saw the sun shining maybe twice.[swg] Still a nice place to live however.

Hi Ian,
Yep, Britland/summer/rain - totally inseperable! My garden also has a very high water table, which helps with the green stuff but means I get plenty of small ponds when it really rains. I'm currently working on the left hand side of the garden where I'm flagging over the grass with the track in a cut between the flags with the usual pea gravel as a track bed. I might just cement the track in here because it will be a high use area. Now I have this photo stuff cracked I'll do updates now and then.
Cheers,
Kim

Kim,

You might want to investigate substituting the new bright LED's in place of the incandecent lamps you're using. They provide a lot of light with much less current draw.

Hi Glen,
The coloured slabs are part of the walkway to the shed and the pots in the middle are basically a bird bath. You're right about the lights, they are desined to light up future buildings, I bought them cheap come autumn last year. They actually last all night when they have had a good dose of sun, currently about 3 to 4 hours.
Cheers,
Kim

What goes on the coloured paving slabs?
Do you put pots with plants in on them?

I see you have some solar powered garden lights. How bright to they glow at night? One project I have planned for later on, is to pull one apart and mount the solar pannel in the roof of a building so that the building lights up every night. But i have observed that some brands glow brighter that others so you need to get the right brand of garden light or it would be a waste of effort.
Maybe an idea you could use.

Glen.

Kim, you have to have the image tags done with the right symbols, except remove the asterisks that I have put in to make them visible here.

You can test it in the preview box first to see if you have done it correctly.

Regards,
Bill
