Yogi,
I Know that you are still at the show in York PA, but hope that you will read this when you get home.
The 45 miniutes that i spent with you learning some of your techniques was worth the price of admission for the show. You are a fine gentleman, with a lovely wife. Your knowledge and skills of scratch building that you are shareing with everyone is greatly appriciated.
I am going to try and get back to the show on Sunday. If I do I will be back to see you again and hopely learn some more from you.
GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!! Anyone that lives close should try and go, and by all means stop and see Yogi. He alone is worth the price of admission.
Yogi thanks again for shareing your skills.

Ben Thanks for the info. I'm in NW Ohio.....so it's a maybe! I'm not getting any mags right now due to having been off work for a while. I'm at the point where I can justify a bit for trains, so I put any potential magazine $$$ to the trains. [:)]

Vic,
All it is is a front and back and about 1-1/2 inches thick.
It is just a "show and Tell" item I will take to shows with me.
Lettering was done with a Stencil, at one time I layed out everything in pencil then painted the lettering, that takes two long and from 5 foot you can't tell the difference.
It has been so long since I used the stencil it was falling apart. I'm making the next stencil one from plastic.

The following was made using power point.
Just glue this to your poster board then cut it out.

Take a piece of poster board and glue the above onto it then cut-out the letters with a model knife or utility knife. If you want to make one out of a plastic sheet glue it to the backside of a clear sheet and cut out the letters through both plastic and paper. This is what I'm doing with my new stencil.

You can use the poster board as a stencil and spray paint. Or use a stencil brush and dob the paint through the stencil.

I will have this at the ECLSTS as an example of using plastic cardboard to build with. It still has some paint to be added and aged a bit.

The barn end as shown is 12" high by 9" wide.
