Hello everyone , was without my computer for a month with modem issues . Finally got it all straighened out . I was getting garden railroad forum withdrawals . Got lots of reading to catch up on .

Been there, done that. I couldn't hack the withdrawal, so gave in & bought new puter last week! Boy, prices have really dropped in 7 years, and you get so much more at those lower prices. Hope that happens to G stuff!

Santa brought my daughter a computer that if "I" bought it would cost under $700. It lights up everywhere, has about 8 x the speed I do, DVD recorder, etc...

Mine was top of the line at the time. Cost $3000 and didn't even have cool blinky lights.

Wish all hobbies would drop like computers.

This forum is like the soapies; you can be out of it for weeks or months and when you come back little has changed and you can pick up the plot pretty easily.

Maybe we could all get together and write a soapie and we'll get rich?

If you really want to get rich, just write 1 or 2 of those dumb commercials for use on the tube; you could buy your own factory and not have to fight the Heil Hitler Dealers!
