This engine isn't only used in Britain, its also used on some continental RR's in Europe and also around the world (including Auz I beleive), A/C is clearly looking at a wider market than just England. Huh, why does that not surprise me....

As this new model is to be 1:29 scale it will be interesting to see if the loco will capture any of the Gauge #1 market. Which is of course, the more correct 1:32 scale.

I wonder if any of you have seen the forthcoming Aristo-craft release for the European market.


It is a American built Class 66 Freight Loco which appeared about 10 years ago in Britain. Retailing at £359.99 ( $655 approx ).
Lovely looking model but price possibly too high for this fellow.
