I cleaned up the dust and they look great. Cheap but great. You know this is a cheap start to expensive future. Cab forward, dash 9, and then .................hmmmmmm

Yeah, those old x-mas sets were nice as of some of the newer ones too, but the oldie always gets my vote. Hope you have alot of fun with it Tim, just too bad the train doesn t fir the time of year, oh well, I too probably would be doing the same as you. I recently ordered myself the Lionel Polar Express o gauge though, would have liked to have seen it in G, and if I m lucky, I ll get it by next x-mas. The waiting list for this item is extraordinary and I think they re in limited edition per year. Merry X-mas Tim!!!![8D]

I wish, it says New Bright. Track is plastic, but engine, tender, boxcar and caboose look ok. Cheap but its a start. I guess I had some rechargeable batteries in there, now I have to find the recharger and see if the batteries are any good. Will keep me going until that cab forward comes out. [8D]

by the way it is raining and stopping, raining and stopping. Thunderstorms predicted.

Found G scale Christmas train

I have joined the BIG boys, I found my Christmas G scale train in an unmarked box. The engine is battery operated, the track has 1 broken piece, but I have a big train. If I find the charger for the batteries, and get some more track, I am in business. Amazing what you find when you go through the boxes.

Also I put the first 4 x 8 in the front of the garage, so I can start on adding the next two 2 x 6 modules. Also getting the whole garage picked up and stuff put away, so the honey is happy.

Take care all, and woo hoo I have a big train, gonna play trains tomorrow, gonna play trains tomorrow...[swg]
