I tell you what has grabbed me and i will get one when I can; the 23900 Henschel MTs duo. Now theres something to get interested in not just a big hunk of simulkated tin.
It can actually do something could really make shunting fun.

Well it IS from LGB so the R1 rule applies....BUT my layouts clearences are designed around the Porter engine, not this, sooo while curves are no biggie but the planned tunnel would get plugged up like a stopped drain. [:D]

Where are the Superliner cars to go with this??????[;)]

"In stock???" I doubt it. Being that it was just announced last week, it's likely not even on the water yet. I didn't see it listed anywhere (Yes, I looked. Sucker to me!) And if they are advertising as such, I'd stay far away from sending them a check!

If it is indeed to a "real" scale, (As real as 1:29 gets) I think it will do very well, perhaps serving as a harbinger of better things to come from the big red box. One can only hope they've decided to get back in the game of model (not toy) trains.

The LGB Genesis is in stock @ Trainworld I do believe and if so may be gone before to long. Good looking model if you look at there web site.
