It seems that winter is a bad time for garden railways/tramways.

Not such a bad time for the railway or equipment, just a bad time for aging people who worry about being able to get up again after slipping on the ice and those who aren't fortified with enough of Johnny Walker's antifreeze for humans!

Winter is seeing a several feet of lake-effect snow, but knowing that somewhere below it is my garden railroad. It's the 'time to build stuff for the railroad' season!

Winter is,sod the railway(you don't get any points for enthusiasm)
Enjoy your life and come back to it in the spring
Mind you,I'm working on a battery powered track cleaner.

This is my fire house a few hours ago. At the moment it on the verge of disappearing.

It's been a good day to work on an indoor project because the northeastern USA, including South Jersey, is in the middle of a big blizzard.
