Running G scale track across driveway

Split Jaw used to make "sectional" roadbed of PVC that had the rails embedded and had sloping sides. That company and product are gone. The "new" company does not have any immediate plans to make this.

Can you entertain cutting the concrete, and embedding track flush in the driveway?

Hello, I have never tried to cross a driveway, but I watch a lot of You tube videos. I have seen many different methods, I think you will have to come up with a homemade solution. Even building up a small burm on each side of the track with concrete, or metal strips. Or a u shaped channel that can be set over the track when not in use.

I'm sure it will be homemade, and custom.

Trainphilos, this is not an issue I have. I have, however, seen photos of folks who build the track into their driveway sort of like a full scale trolley line. I would imagine the rails sit below the pavement level and that, in general, the gap in the paving is small relative to a car's tires. Just a guess here...

Hello:

I just moved and now have a driveway which needs to be crossed by my G scale track. Laying down track and using an adhesive just does not work. It just comes apart. 

I faintly remember somebody selling two and three foot long "rerailers" in the past, which could be driven over and walked on, however I can not find anything like it on the net. 

Anybody have any ideas on how to deal with this issue and/or how to get the above mentioned rerailers?
