You're welcome, and, yes, I'd swing on the LGB screws. I haven't the talent to try anything else, anyway. Even with the LGB screws, I had a stock loco I've been trying to tickle back into service for several years, and the screws were engaging some of the linkages! I am not sure if it was the result of plastic deformation over the years what.

yeah i thought of that....im sure i would have to grind the head down to clear side rods. but then i would probably lose the slot to remove it. still worth a shot.surprisenly theres one on ebay for 99 cent and 3 dollars shipping.what the heck why not. might not get another chance.thanks.

Sorry, I thought I might have one sitting around. My web research came up "zero." I've had very good luck contacting TrainLi for parts. You could remove another one and take it to the hardware store and try to match it, I suppose, but I would be careful the head doesn't clip any of the rods. Eric

you guessed it ...dropped it and its gone. anybody know the size ? its the stainz 2020.
