The month of April is national Autism Awareness month, so while the events are all postponed due to the health crissis, I can run some live steam here at home with my custom built car in the train. The locomotive is by Roundhouse Engineering and is one of their Lady Anne class 0-6-0 tank engines, freight cars are from LGB with the passenger coach being custom built by me. Enjoy!!

Silly NT's, I have Asperger's Syndrome
Here are some regular pictures of the engine after some polishing up as she was a bit dirty when she arrived from the dealer in the UK. Nothing some wax and Brasso couldn't fix. Mike the Aspie
Before the run and before cleanup.
And after clean up and fitting an LGB loop coupler to the front buffer.
Like that engine, really love the cars !
It's beautiful sight !

Looks super fun! I love how those live steam locos sound. Maybe one day in the far future I'll get one.
You can get a nice entry level engine from Roundhouse for just over $800 to your door. Look into their "basic series" engines. There are 3 UK style and 1 American style(named Sammie). Bertie is the UK version of Sammie, and the new 0-4-2 Jennie with the tender, if ordered in all black, would be easy to turn into an American logging/mining engine as well. For the those wishing to spend closer to $2000, the new Davenport saddle tank model in the Classic series looks to be a real winner. I cannot afford brand new, I got this used from an online dealer in the UK. Places like Anything Narrow Gauge, John Sutton Books & Models ect are the places to shop. If going brand new, you can order direct from Roundhouse once things are up and running again. Anyhow, here is a better pic of my custom Autism car. Mike the Aspie
