Suppose someone in PO shortstopped it?? Got mine in DE early in month! Seriously, look to Benny's post for most likely reason, even tho I hate to take PO side in any issue after some of the things that have happened to me! Label prob came off & they don't know where to deliver it!

BEN,
I THINK THEY'RE USING A NOT SO STICKY GLUE SO YOU CAN PEEL IT OFF AFTER IT COMES AND ENJOY THE PRETTY PICTURE ON THE COVER. PROBABLY A LOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINED CAUSE THE COVER PICTURES WERE RUINED BY THE MAILING LABELS. HAVE TO JACK THE PRICE OF SUBSCRIPTION TO PUT IT IN A PLASTIC BAG FOR MAILING! ONCE AGAIN, CAN'T HAVE YOUR CAKE AND EAT IT; OR DAMNED IF YOU DO AND DAMNED IF YOU DON'T!

Marty,

Of course bigger is better (except when you're talking about gifts. . .then small boxes can be good too!) The dealers can't look at other's prices. We don't allow them to view anything but their own ads before the issue is printed.

Discontinued=clearance=saving money. That's a good thing, right? *grin*

Rene, are you saying is BIG is better? I find myself comparing all the add prices and wonder if the dealers look at each others adds? I ordered a discontinued Aristo baggage car just to make it into a MOW tool car. The price was alittle more than just buying the trucks alone. I know, i'm not suppose to buy any more for awhile.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?

Long live Outdoor Model Railroading.

Just got my GR magazines that I won off of Ebay. These are late 80's and early 90's issues. I must say that after reading those and my current issue, I am glad that GR has progressed to the point it is today. Way much better. - Greg

Ian,
You've gotten yours in England already? That's great. Hope you enjoy. It's a big issue that we're proud of. . . and Torby, don't throw away the cards. You can leave them in other locations (doctor's office, barbershop, etc.) for others to discover. *GRIN* At least that's what I do.

Hi Rene
Received the latest issue of GR through the post this morning. Extra pages, a quick glance, looks good. Look forward to a good read. I don`t know about other readers but I carry my copy around in my workbag and I continually take it out and have a re-read over the next month. In fact I have got the last four copies in my bag.
All the best
