New Years Eve railfanning.
Posted by Marty Cozad on Friday, December 31, 2004 11:01 PM
What else can a guy do when is wife is working and I'm tired from a long day. GO RAILFANNING..
I was told by couple of people that coal trains are BORING.
I just don't understand this. I headed down to Minersville at one of my favorite spots and low and behold a coal train came through town.

three units pulling hard.

WOOW the sound of all that power.

The steel wheels weighted down with their loads

The horn off in the distance from the engines

A draging brake shoe on one of the cars.
ISN'T this Exciting??????

WHAT, thats right, no cabooses

Shall we start all over again.?

Happy New Year and may this next year be even funner.

Is it REAL? or Just 1:29 scale?
