Yes, there is only one headlight, the front headlight. Gues I'll have to look very close to see where the wires are that connect to the motor. Then I'll route the wires from the wheel pickup to the Revo and back to the motor.
Thanks for your inputs.
Keith
No, I would not remove the drive mechanism. Yes you should have pickup from the drive wheels.
is there only one light (headlight) on the loco?

Thanks, Greg,
Actually all I was thinking of doing was wiring track to Revo to motor and add the chuff. I was going to leave the lights alone. I think I can see the chuff wires (they're pink on my loco) but I'm sure sure about the track power pick-up. This loco is different than another one I converted. This one looks like there is power pick-up from the drive wheels. Just not sure. I have just removed the long plate on the bottom (4 screws). Should I be removing the whole drive mechanism?
Depends on how much work you want to do, will you rewire the headlight to the Revo so it works correctly?
Are there any other lights you want to support?
Greg
I have several old Bachmann Ten Wheelers, probably before the Annies came out. In the front stack, there is only 1 switch and that's for the front headlight. There isn't a second NMRA switch for eliminating track power to use battery power. I'm trying to install the Revolution. Since I'm running track power, it's not clear to me how the wiring is set up, where I disconnect the motor from the track and connect the motor to the RX board. Does anyone have a clear idea how these older Ten Wheelers are wired?
