Andrew04,
I don't know exactly where you could find something like that but if there are some railroad museums around where you are, you could e-mail them and ask them if they have drafts like that. The museums around where I live often have whole rooms of stuff like that. I got some drafts of a fireless locomotive, once, from a historical society all the way across the country. [:)]
Hope this helps,
Scott

Check the New York Central historical society:

Also, MTH has a J-3a:

Good luck to you Andrew, I hope you can make headway with what you wi***o do. What sort of money can you put your hands on? US Dollars, etc, If you can get Eurodollars you could buy LGB, which is the best; direct from Germany which by Australian standards isn't too far away from you.

If I were you i would look more at European railways they are closer to you and more interesting unless you are an American.

Try this site: http://steamcad.railfan.net/whip.htm

The drawings at the site above can be viewed using a free web browser add-in produced by Autodesk. The link to the Autodesk site is provided at the site above, also.

They have a drawing of NYC Hudson 5416, which I think is a J3.

if any of you don't know, it Belarus was part of the old USSR and all things considered they did pretty well at the last Olympics. This of course impresses Australians.
