Tom,

Luckily, they are just trees from our avocado tree!  Our guppies rode out the storm in their little pond just fine.  As it overflowed, the water ran into the gravel surrounding it, so it never pooled enough for much if any of the population to make a break for it.

We did get off very luck all the same.  I have been reflecting on what would've happened if I had built the railroad on ground level.  I have often felt I would be further along on the project had I built on ground level, as funds and time spend on the retaining wall could've gone elsewhere.  If I had taken that route, I'd be starting over.

Aloha,

Eric

...may I offer the following from this weekend to sway you towards that extra expense?

We are on top of coral and sand landfill, so all has since drained, and we only had to man the pumps (or swabs) in a small corner of the house!

Glad I listened to the advice I got here when I undertook the project!

Have a great week!

Eric
