Someday in my wanderings I will be remotely close to a railfair and be able to actually create a "scrap box" of my own.  Bill has me chomping on the bit to try something.

"...used and ABUSED parts ready for...."

.... ready for an application of BadgerModeFlex(tm)   rust, mud, etc.,   to then be placed within or create a scrap pile in the engine yard (or similiar).   Not a real world 'pile.  IMHO

p.s.

ie. i like to adopt unused/unappreciated  Aristocraft hook'n loop couplers Cool

At the SanDiego show he was next to the Lionel "junk" guy. Well junk is a harsh word, I should have said used and ABUSED parts ready for the recycle parts bin. Stuff looking forward for reuse as something else.

Thanks Tom, can always rely on you for a answer, just went to railfair last weekend in Deland, Fl. What a bust. I'll must have to keep my eye out, thought about contacting accucraft and see if I can buy the one they use on theirs but would probably want a bazillon dollars. Bill

This may not be much help. The only time I've seen what you want was at Multi-scale train shows/sales. There was a guy who 'printed' them as well as many other small parts. Larger items were a 'pay now, receive them in UPS a few days later'. I've lost his business card else I would tell you how to contact him. If no one can answer, then I suggest hitting all the shows in your area.
