Is there any other file for the 10 part signal project featured in G.R. to download other than the STL file?. I would like to look at the other files , but do not have or want to download the program that it is asking to use.. Thanks..
FYI I emailed Steve Berneberg, the author of this series, about your question.

Unfortunately this was all done in SolidWorks; a very expensive CAD program. I used SolidWorks because I have used it for years and know how to use it effectively. So I did it in this CAD program for time constraints. Some of the articles are in openSCAD or SketchUp; both free programs. However, I can send you the SolidWorks files and there is a free viewer that you can download for free. If you can sneak into a Community College or some Libraries, some use SolidWorks if they have a maker space. You might also want to check on maker spaces and see if someone near you has SolidWorks. I can convert all parts to drawings which have dimensions. Let me know, I will get all the files you want to you somehow.......

I will be writing about another free CAD tool that is supposed to take SolidWorks files and convert then into this free CAD tool native language. I need to work on the new program a little longer to get up to the novice level. Look for this in one of the following articles. If this works, I can share all my SolidWorks files or just convert them over to the new program. Stay in touch.
