Looking for brass strip 1/8 " wide and between .016 to .032 inch thick. Could someone post a possibel source. K&S Engineering stocks at the local HS only have it down to 1/4" wide. Maybe I need to start thinking about buying good shears that would handle up to 1/32" brass sheet and cut my own.

Try "Special Shapes." They're actually a division of K&S, but some stores don't stock that particular product line. Go to www.specialshapes.com , then click on "brass bars." I didn't see an on-line order form, but they do have a 1-800 number you can call. (Their web site isn't Netscape friendly, so you'll have to use IE to navigate around.)
