My original target signals were made of washers and tubing. After they began to fall apart, I printed new target signals, a little fancier this time. Mine are 1:32 scale, use red/green LEDs. I use them to verify that I'm getting power to the tracks. Green lights ahead is good, dark territory is bad! Red ahead means there's a train coming the other way. I designed them in Tinkercad.
What No Pic ?
I'd send some, but can't figure out how to put them up here. Clicking on the "insert image' icon leads me to believe I must have the pix somewhere other than my computer to show them.

Yes, to share your pix on this (and most other forum sites) you do need an account to store on line. For years many of us have used sites like 'Photobucket' for this purpose. These 'photo sharing sites' are now starting to charge for their service. Some of us are reluctant to pay their fees. In my case I have supported Photobucket by having them print large copies of some of my pix, which I could have done cheaper at a local photo shop store front. Since I pay two different 'cloud data storage' sites, I'm not to keen on paying for storage at a site that only stores pictures for use on different forums. There is a site called 'Printerst' with very little noticable advertising. It allows you to share pix with others who share you interest. You can get the url for your pic and can post it on this forum. There are svevral 'data storage sites' where you can store most everything, photos, movies, documents, hardrive backups and the like for a monthly fee. Two of these, 'Google Drive' and Microsoft's 'One Drive' both offer something like 2 or 3 gigabytes of storage for free. I currently rent about 500 gigabytes of space for about $6 a month. Both allow you to share directories with friends and relatives. With a little bit of exploration you can get the url for the photo you want to share and post it to the forums.
