Can someone please tell me how to separate the upper shell from the base?

There are four tabs to remove the center cab. use toothpicks to hold them open as you remove the cab, then there are screws at each corner on the under frame.

There are usually screws on the underside, deeply set, you need a skinny philips screwdriver, there's probably at least 6 screws, normally you have to swivel the trucks to reveal all the holes.
