I am new here, but I am building a 2 Rail O Scale Layout Outdoors, I have started a new blog about how I am doing it. I am new at blogging and still learning, here is my link https://oscaleoutdoors.blogspot.com/
Atlas track has UV proof ties and nickle silver rails that will work outdoors. Gargraves with stainless rails and wood ties will work, but will need yearly waterproofing of the wood ties to preserve them. O scale outdoors has been done for years. CJ Freezer has a garden railways book that covers doing O scale outdoors, as well as other scales very well. Mike

I know the trains are not built for 4 seasons but what can you do to the track to make it 4 season? I assume brass Gargraves Track hand built and a enginehouse to keep trains out of the weather.
