I hate the winter myself, but I've been so busy with work that hopefully the winter will pass by as a blure.

Ian, it was 34 here, too. 34 FAHRENHEIT!! Cold, man. And tonight it's snowing heavy wet snow. Time to run the train on it's pathetic starter set circle indoors, and build some more cars for spring. I like shorty industrial cars; if I could build one per week, I could have a good long train by spring!

Since I just got my Ruby running, I miss it too. Live steam(butane) doesn't like cold weather very well. But on the other hand I just finished my snow plow car. So let it
snow, let it snow, let it snow. - Greg

Yes, I miss summer too. But when the bad weather sets in it forces us to begin "building season" when we start all those workbench projects that we put off because it was so nice outside previously.

The weather has been strangely mild and foggy in South Jersey for the last couple of days, but the thermometer is due to take a tumble soon. Last year there was snow by this time.

Meanwhile, enjoy all the festivities of the holiday season.

Bill C.

already missing summer

It wasn't that long ago that me and friends were out in the back playing with the trains in short sleve shirts and drinking a few cold beers . Now that it is December in Chicago it seems as if it is always cloudy and cold. All of the snowstorms so far around here have deposited wet , real heavy snow . I'm still hoping to use the plow . Anyhow this picture is of warmer , more train friendly days. I already miss summer .
