Death of the FYI thread.

I have lost interest in maintaining the FYI thread and plan to let it die a dignified death.
Other interests are taking up most of my free time these days so I don't have much time to log onto this fourm.
If its possible, someone else could take over the FYI thread, I have no objections.

Ask Rene to repost it as a "sticky", maybe collate all the threads into one post. that way as a sticky it will easily referble for other viewers.
Have fun with your trains

Larry,
I think we all owe you a debt of gratitude for having maintained the list as long as you have. I don't have the time to take over at this time but I hope that someone who does will step forward and carry on.
Thanks again.

Yes Larry; I for one owe you a favour, I got Jigstones out of it and have used it so much I have used up nearly 100 kg (224 lbs) of special concrete. I have made 2 tunnel portals 15 support pylons and a viaduct 4 m (13') long with 14 arches and it will probably end up with 16 arches. My big Mallet pulling 3 Golden Mountain coaches (from the Orient Express stable) looks incredible; romantic and as authentic as you can get in model railways.
Thanks mate

Thank you guys I'm glad you've found the FYI thread useful.
You will be happy to know that Rene has taken over the FYI and made it a "sticky" so it will remain at the top of the page......Thanks Rene.
I still plan to stop by when I have time and add my two cents.....OLD DAD

Hi Larry,
Your two cents will always be welcome here. You should feel pretty good about leaving a legacy like the FYI list for your fellow modelers.
Good Luck
