Hey Ya'll

Ya'll are sooo lucky, I wish it snowed down here like that. It snows every now and then, but not the downpour every year like the other places

Great photos.
Where I live, we only get a good snowfall every couple of years (well good enough to get decent photos). And I am sure if I built a snow plough Murphys Law would mean I would have to wait 20 years to use it.
The one morning it did snow this year I got the trains out befoere work and got some photos and had so much fun I missed the bus, so I was late to work, but it was worth it.[^]

I get to plow the rails after the house is cleared!

I just fill the plow with rocks--maybe I'll put some lead under the rocks!

How much weight do you put in the gondola? I am in the process of building my own plow and it says 2-3 lbs. I was thinking of using cut up patio block peices. I can't wait til it snows. - Greg

I woke up this morning to about 3 inches (7.25 scale feet)of fluffy, dry powder, the kind skiiers dream about. So, rather than prepare for work, out came the SD 45 and plow! The line has to be plowed so the merchandise can move to it's destination.

Number 410, an SD-45 and #703, a GP9 are MU'd together behind the plow.

No one has ever really trusted that bridge, especially when it cannot be seen!

Plowing the passing siding.

Number 410, nicknamed "Hustle Mustle" stands by to get the snow knocked off.

Yes, I know, HustleMustle is #400, but this is the way it came from the factory, a rare (I think) misprint. Just curious, how many other #410 HustleMustle's are there?

I love playing with trains outside, especially when the neighbors think I'm nuts.
